What is the 6th annual CBRN Resilience conference?

Multi-agency integration and interoperability are the single largest challenge to you in coordinating an effective CBRN response. Clarity of roles and responsibilities for each agency as well as a coordinated strategy are vital.

Defence IQ’s 6th Annual CBRN conference will give you the opportunity to liaise with your multi agency partners to ensure clarity of roles during an incident. The conference has been devised as a scenario based training forum for all the major stakeholders to share information on how each organisation’s readiness can be enhanced for a CBRN incident.

How can you use the 6th annual CBRN Resilience conference as scenario based training for you and your team?

The training scenario will be based on an incident at a major event. The briefings are designed to go from first responder to healthcare provisions and decontamination through to business continuity and community resilience. There will also be case studies including the clear up from the PO-210 incident. This will ensure that you can take lessons from other agencies who have successfully dealt with CBRN incidents before and apply them to your own preparedness plan. CBRN Resilience will break for in depth discussions for the training scenario at key stages. Download the programme for more details.

2) "Covering the strategic approach would be beneficial."
Solution: Sessions from central Government including the Department of Health, on behalf of the Home Office and from the Department of Communities and Local Government.
